Pam Young

Chief Executive Officer

Bio

Pam Young has spent 40 years in healthcare administration, leadership and practice management with expertise in operations, startups, billing, coding, auditing, compliance, financial performance, business development and diversification, and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, Young served as Corporate VP of North America for a $15B international healthcare company. Pam also earned a Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership and dual Business Administration/Management degrees from Mountain State University.

Dr. Ravindu “Ravi” Gunatilake is the director of clinical perinatal medicine for Valley Perinatal Services. Ravi is a board certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists. His background in health management, business, and patient care set him apart as a medical director and member of the management team.

Chris Johnson

Chief Information Officer

Bio

Chris is responsible for leveraging emerging technologies to optimize productivity. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering and has over 13 years of IT experience. He has a background in consulting and assisting businesses grow from infancy to financial success. He has a passion for identifying the strengths of an organization and developing optimal paths for reaching the highest potential. Chris has over a decade of experience of prenatal medical related information technologies services. He enjoys playing soccer and sharing outdoor experiences with his family.

Wayne Pratt

Chief Financial Officer

Bio

Wayne is responsible for the financial viability of Valley Perinatal Services. He has been the CFO of multiple organization, including Unicorn Media, Inc., Syntax-Brillian Corporation, Limelight Networks, and many others. Wayne is the owner and CEO of Sherpa CFO, LLC, a premier provider of outsourced Chief Financial Officer services. He has over 30 years in finance and holds a degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. Wayne has lead numerous M&A transactions on both the buyer and seller sides. As a CFO, he helps build companies around a strategic vision. Wayne enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Bruce Law

Chief Marketing Officer

Bio

Bruce is responsible for generating awareness and brand recognition for Valley Perinatal Services. Over the past 15 years, Bruce has lead Sprout Marketing, a unique CMO-for-hire business designed to assist companies in getting started and growing successfully through better marketing. Because of Sprout, Bruce has been able to direct the marketing of more than 200 companies and launch over 500 products, including solutions for Intel and Lenovo. Bruce began his career in advertising at Ogilvy, New York where he served on the Lever Brothers, Owens-Corning Fiberglass and Hardee’s Foods accounts. He holds a BA in Advertising from BYU. He and his wife reside in Arizona and have four children and two grandchildren.

Michelle Miller

HR Director

Bio

Michelle brings 20 years in HR leadership and a wealth of experience to VPS. She specializes in Employment Law and Organizational Development and has worked for large companies such as McKesson and Providence Health.Michelle earned a Bachelors degree from the University of England and is currently working on a Masters in Healthcare Policy at Arizona State University.

Grisel Washington

Director of Operations

Bio

Grisele has worked in healthcare for 21 years, with 11 years in Maternal Fetal Medicine. As the Director of Operations, Grisele is responsible for ensuring that all 9 VPS locations run properly and provide excellent patient care. In addition to her experience in healthcare, Griselle served for 10 years as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman and earned a Bachelors in Psychology and an MBA in Healthcare Administration.

Erin Sweeney

Erin handles strategic projects for the company as well as providing support to the day to day operations. Before joining VPS, Erin worked with a large medical practice supporting 19 providers. Erin earned her degree from Arizona State University.

Berkeley Geddes

Bio

Berkeley is a co-founder, former CEO and current Board Chair of Valley Perinatal Services. He and Dr. John Elliott working with VPS employees are responsible for the growth and success of the organization. He is a serial entrepreneur who has started over 38 businesses, with over 30 achieving market success. His business experience spans several industries to include academia, accounting, retail, software development, advanced learning systems, resource management, real estate development, technology and artificial intelligence. Prior to entering the medical market, Berkeley founded Gang of Four, co-founded WhizBang Labs, and launched FlipDog, an online recruiting website which was sold to Monster.com. In medicine, he has pioneered and patented new technologies, advanced Arizona’s largest L&D Imaging organization, employed 100’s of people and created new concepts important to key aspects of medicine to include medical billing, career development and optimal path strategies. He is passionate about seeking for ways to elevate, uplift, improve, and inspire others as well as himself. He believes one of the most important quests in the human experience is seeking for, finding, understanding, embracing and living consistent with known truth.

Dr. Elliott is an internationally recognized authority in maternal fetal medicine and has distinguished himself as a practicing physician and an educator. He teaches at national and international meetings, conferences and local symposia. Dr. Elliott serves on numerous professional boards and has received awards and grants for his breakthrough work in the medical community.

Dan O’Keeffe is the Executive Vice President of The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM) based in Washington, DC. Prior to this, Dr. O’Keeffe practiced in and served as Medical Director of Phoenix Perinatal Associates, an integrated practice of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Genetic, Radiology, Neonatal specialists, Nurse Practitioners and Midwives. Dr. O’Keeffe also served as the Medical Director for PeriGen based in Princeton, NJ., a best of breed in-hospital OB EMR company. He serves on 3 non-profit boards: • The Pregnancy Foundation • Perinatal Quality Foundation • Association of Maternal Fetal Medicine Management
