Valued Valley Perinatal Patients,

After careful observation of the COVID-19 trends in Arizona and the noticeable decrease in confirmed cases, Valley Perinatal Services will still be taking all necessary measures and precautions to keep all of our high-risk patients and employees safe and healthy.

While social distancing and strict PPE (personal protective equipment) protocols are implemented in all VPS clinics to reduce the spread of the virus, Valley Perinatal Services will resume in-office provider office visits starting Monday, September 21st at our four current open facilities: Chandler, Estrella, Phoenix and Glendale. VPS will have one provider available for telemedicine office visits that will occur via Webex on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until further notice. However, from now until Friday, September 18th, VPS will continue to have a telemedicine only model.

Valley Perinatal Services will maintain social distance protocols and will have all patients check their temperature and heart rates upon arrival and be required to wear a mask for the duration of the visit. The required mask will be provided to ensure safety. At this time, the guest policy will continue to be allowing only the patient during the appointments (ultrasound and office visit). All other persons are not allowed on premises without exception and approvals obtained by provider and management team after requests are submitted at least 24-48 hours prior to the appointment.

To limit exposure and time spent in waiting-rooms, we have pre-check in available through the Athena portal offered to all patients. In addition, all new patients can complete new patient documentation and forms online through the portal as well. If a portal request is needed, please call (480) 756-6000 and speak with our scheduling team and request to be sent the invitation for the portal. All bills can also be paid online through our portal. For more information, please visit www.valleyperinatal.com and explore our patient resources.

Again, we thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your family during this difficult time. We hope that these precautionary measures will minimize your risk while in our facilities and appreciate your cooperation as we continue to strive to optimize safety while still providing great service.

Please contact us if you have any questions at (480) 756-6000.

Thank you,

Valley Perinatal Services Management
